Go Set A Watchman – Harper Lee: What I learnt

The main message I received was that of Atticus, and when Scout’s disgust of how he was working with all these terrible people with terrible opinions.

In the end, he gave a message that one must be prepared to listen to all views, even bigotry itself, and that one should not just outright dismiss a view…but, if disagreed with, proceed to argue and help reform someone’s view.

Another message was that every man has their own views and conscience and as a result, they act as they see fit.
